ATLANTA – National Sushi Day (not to be confused with International Sushi Day in June) is this Thursday, November 1st! Although Atlanta is famous for fried chicken and soul food, we still have some great sushi restaurants around town. These incredible local spots will be serving up unbeatable deals on their delicious sushi. As sushi connoisseurs, we have been to just about every sushi restaurant in town. We have assembled a list of only the best spots that have specials National Sushi Day in Atlanta, so you can be sure you will have a great meal, without breaking the bank!
Doraku, located in Buckhead, is an Izakaya, or a Japanese gastropub. The menu has a mix of popular items like sushi and more inventive asian fusion dishes. The Cowfish is a one-of-a-kind dining experience, thriving on its ability to fuse two niche products -burgers and sushi – seamlessly on the same menu. The creative menu at The Cowfish features a large selection of burgers and sushi rolls. But the most interesting dishes are a fusion of the two; Cowfish calls these “Burgushi”. On Thursday, cocktails are half price all day long. There is also a sushi and burger happy hour from 3-6PM. Kuroshio Midtown Sushi Lounge
Kuroshio Midtown Sushi Lounge is an upscale sushi restaurant, bar, and lounge located in the heart of Midtown. The expert chefs at Kuroshio craft beautiful rolls, such as the dragon roll, with only the freshest seafood and ingredients. Ra Sushi Bar
Ra Sushi Bar in Midtown serves inventive sushi, Japanese-inspired cuisine, and innovative cocktails. The restaurant has a large outdoor patio and bar, which is perfect to grab a drink during Happy Hour. Ra will be having their normal happy hour on National Sushi Day from 3-7PM and 10PM to close. Ra has a wide variety of specials on Rolls, Nigiri, and Appetizers for after work happy hour and late night. Drink specials include discounted beer, Sake, and cocktails. O-Ku celebrates authentic Asian cuisine with a southern approach with a menu that focuses on unique ingredients and sophisticated presentations.
