Best Monday Happy Hours in Atlanta

Torched Hop Brewing Company | Midtown

Torched Hop Brewing Company is Midtown’s favorite neighborhood brewpub. The brewpub has a wide selection of beer – all brewed in house of course – classic bar food, and tons of games.

Torched Hop’s Monday Happy Hour is one of the best. You can get a Classic double burger, fries, and any house draught for just $10. This is an awesome deal since a single draught beer is usually $7!

The Mercury | Ponce City Market

The Mercury is a classic cocktail-focused eatery on the second floor of Ponce City Market. Every Monday, The Mercury has an unbeatable Happy Hour: Classic cocktails, normally $11, are half price all day for Merc Monday! The cocktails include classic drinks such as The Old Fashioned, Pimm’s Cup, Moscow Mule, and The Saturn.

Best of all, you can take your drink to go! The bartenders will serve your drink in a plastic cup, so you can enjoy it as you tour the other shops in Ponce City Market.

Establishment | Midtown

Establishment in Midtown, Atlanta is a sophisticated cocktail lounge with a focus on local historical significance. This upscale lounge is located in the heart of Midtown, inside Colony Square. Cocktail Curation is the name of Establishment’s award winning beverage and ice program. The drinks are cultivated with only fresh ingredients prepared over hand carved blocks of ice.

Every Monday, Establishment offers a list of Specialty Cocktails for only $6. This list includes classics, such as the Old Fashioned, Penicillin, and Bee’s Knees. Additionally, appetizers are half off between 4:30 and 7PM.

Deals this good are hard to come by in Atlanta’s priciest neighborhood!

MidiCi Neapolitan Pizza Company | Midtown

MidiCi is Midtown’s newest Neapolitan pizza restaurant. Every Pizza at MidiCi is baked to perfection in under a minute in one of their traditional wood-fire ovens. Additionally, MidiCi has a brand new patio with unbeatable skyline views.

MidiCi’s Monday Happy Hour is one of the best in Atlanta; Margherita pizzas are $5 all day long! So, come to MidiCi to grab lunch, dinner, or a late night snack.

Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub | Brookhaven

Kaleidoscope Bistro & pub is a neighborhood spot, nestled right in the heart of Brookhaven. The aim is to create a comfortable environment with great food, great beer, and great service. On Monday, Kaleidoscope has a half-price burger Happy Hour. This deal is available all day long! A double burger is normally $11, but they are only $5.50 every Monday.

Best Tuesday Happy Hours in Atlanta

Varasano’s Pizzeria | Buckhead

Varasano’s Pizzeria in South Buckhead is one of the best pizza restaurants in Atlanta. The chefs use the classic Neapolitan recipe to create their delicious, thin crust pizza. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list.

Every Tuesday from 5:30-10PM, Varasano’s has one of the best Atlanta Happy Hours: Bottomless wine! That’s right, get as much wine as you can handle for only $12. The wine vintage changes frequently, so you get a different experience every time!

Tin Lizzy’s | Multiple Locations

Tin Lizzy’s has several Atlanta locations, and is also a local favorite for tacos, tequilas, and everything in between. Every Tuesday, Taco & Tequila Tuesdays starts after 2PM!  Tacos, such as fried fish, the basic chick, chicken con queso, fried chicken and portabello, are $2! Even better, wash them down with drink specials like $2 PBR tallboys, $3 Tecate, $4 well margaritas and $5 Patron shots.

Serpas True Food | Old Fourth Ward

Serpas True Food takes an honest approach to Southern food with Louisiana flair. Located in an old cotton storage facility in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, Serpas is known for its “true food” approach to cuisine with an edge.

Serpas has one of the best Happy Hours in Old Fourth Ward; enjoy a delicious Serpas True Food Burger, fries, and a craft Pilsner from Three Taverns for just $15. Kick it up a notch and customize it with a selection of add-ons for an additional fee.

Note: This deal is only available at the bar and chef’s counter.

Iberian Pig | Decatur

With roots in traditional Spanish flavors, The Iberian Pig serves Spanish-inspired tapas. Iberian Pig’s Chefs match bold flavors with the warm, convivial environment. Jamon Happy Hour is on Tuesday (and every weekday) from 5-7PM. The Happy Hour has discounted charcuterie boards, cheese boards, and $5 Sangria and House Punch.

The Iberian Pig also has a patio overlooking Decatur Square, making it the perfect place to indulge in drinks and charcuterie on an Atlanta afternoon.

Babalu Tapas & Tacos | Midtown

Bablu, newly opened in Midtown Atlanta, is a globally influenced restaurant. The restaurant and bar serves tacos, tapas, and cocktails, as well as brunch on the weekend. Every Tuesday, every taco on the menu is just $2 each. There are almost ten delicious options to choose from!

Also on Tuesday is a Flights and Bites menu from 3-6PM. The Flights and Bites menu is every Monday through Friday. Drink specials include $4 draft beers, $5 house wine, $4 Sangria, and $5 Margaritas. Bites on special are $3 tacos, $10 slider trios, $6 Queso Blanco Fries, and many others! Flights of beer ($6), Sangria ($10), and Tequila ($10) are also on special!

Best Wednesday Happy Hours in Atlanta

Hampton and Hudson  | Inman Park

Hampton and Hudson, located in Inman Park, is a classic American bar and restaurant. The menu is full of southern favorites, like mac and cheese, hush puppies, and chicken biscuit sliders. The Wednesday deal is one of the best in Atlanta. All day long, carafes of wine are half price. If you go between 4-7PM, you can get appetizers for 50% off as well.

Bar Mercado | Krog Street Market

Bar Mercado in Krog Street Market is a Spanish Tapas restaurant. The vibrant markets in Madrid during the end of the 16th century inspired this restaurant and bar, as they were a melting pot of regional Spanish cooking.

Bar Mercado has Happy Hour every weekday, Wednesday included. The Happy Hour is from 5-7PM, and has a $5 tapas menu, $5 wine, and rotating drink specials.

STK | Midtown

STK Atlanta in Midtown blends a high-end steakhouse and modern lounge into one. The restaurant offers a fine dining experience with all the superior quality of a traditional steakhouse. On Wednesday, and every week day, STK has a great Happy Hour from 4-6:30PM. Appetizers, such as oysters, truffle fries, hummus, and shrimp cocktails are discounted, and cost between $2-$8. Drinks less than $17 are half price.

O-Ku | West Midtown

O-Ku celebrates authentic Asian cuisine with a southern approach with a menu that focuses on unique ingredients and sophisticated presentations. The Happy Hour at O-Ku is one of the best in Atlanta. Every Wednesday from 5-7PM, O-Ku’s wide selection of rolls are half price, which means $14 rolls are now only $7! Pair the discounted rolls with awesome rooftop views, and you have one of the top Happy Hour destinations in the city.

Pro Tip: Barcelona Wine Bar is located next door, and has half price bottles of wine all night. Stop by after sushi for some after dinner drinks!

The Local Pizzaiolo | West Midtown

The Local Pizzaiolo has two locations – one in West Midtown, and the other in Toco Hills, north of Decatur. This Pizza joint makes incredible pies – in fact, the founder and owner won the 2010 Pizza World Championship in Salsomaggiore, Italy.

Every Wednesday, the West Midtown location has $5 Margherita Pizzas and $5 glasses of wine. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate being mid-way through the week! If you are every in the Westside on a Wednesday, you need to check this deal out!

Best Thursday Happy Hours in Atlanta

Gypsy Kitchen | The Shops of Buckhead 

Gypsy Kitchen draws inspiration from the culinary riches of Spain. Chefs infuse the dishes with Moroccan traditions and Indian influences that travelled west. Centuries of interplay between these food traditions inspires the restaurant’s Iberian fusion plates.

Gypsy Kitchen has one of our favorite Happy Hours. Every Weekday from 4:30-6PM is Gypsy Hour, which has has $5 rotating wine vintages and a variety of $4 and $5 tapas.

Make sure to get a seat on the rooftop terrace, which has terrific views of the buckhead skyline!

5Church | Midtown

5Church Atlanta is an upscale bar and restaurant located in Midtown on Peachtree. The restaurant serves new American Fair in a renovated space with cutting-edge architecture. The bar has a wide range of cocktails, beers, and appetizers that make it perfect for happy hour. There is also an open air rooftop patio on the second level that overlooks the Midtown Skyline.

Every Monday through Thursday, Social Hour is from 4:30 – 6:30. There are $8 apps, $6 select glasses of wine, and multiple beer options are $4.

Zinburger Wine and Burger Bar | Buckhead 

Zinburger Atlanta, located in Buckhead, is a modern wine and burger bar. The restaurant specializes in creative burgers and fries, shakes, wine, beer and cocktails. Zinburger also has one of the best Thursday Happy Hours in Atlanta.

Every weekday from 3-6PM, Plain and Simple Burgers are $5. Fries are also half priced, which includes Zucchini Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, and tater tots. Glasses of wine and draft beer are half off, and well drinks are $4. Also, specialty cocktails are $5; options include Margaritas, Daiquiris, Sangria, and more!

Doraku | The Shops of Buckhead

Doraku, located in Buckhead, reinvents the Japanese restaurant. The sushi restaurant captures the flavors of Latin Cuisine while staying true to the sushi tradition of Japan. Doraku has one of the best Thursday Happy Hours, which includes a full menu of discounted sushi from 5-8PM. This Happy Hour is available daily, and  includes deals on specialty rolls, $4 Izakaya (apps), and $5 hand rolls.

Cooks and Soldiers | West Midtown

Cooks & Soldiers draws its inspiration from the people and the cuisine of the Basque Country in Spain and France, and is a vibrant Tapas restaurant serving delicious Pintxos (small bites served on toast). There is an excellent Pintxos Happy Hour every week day, Thursday included.

Pintxos Happy Hour from 5-7PM means all eight Pintxo Tradicionales and Bikinis (grilled cheese bites) are $5 each!

Best Friday Happy Hours in Atlanta

Donetto | West Midtown

Named after the largest Chianina bull ever recorded in history, Donetto is a celebration of Italy’s Tuscan region with a menu featuring imaginative takes on traditional Tuscan fare. Located in Atlanta’s Stockyards development, Donetto offers an urban Italian menu comprised of heavy meats, house-made pastas and small plates for sharing.

Donetto Happy Hour is every Friday, and includes half price bottles of wine and antipasti at the bar! Antipasti options include Marinated Olives, Whipped Ricotta, Burrata, Suppli, Scallop Crudo, and others! There is an extensive wine list of half priced bottles to choose from.

Fred’s Meat & Bread | Midtown

Fred’s Meat and Bread, located at The Canteen in Midtown, is known for Classic sandwiches, hand-cut fries, and old-school sodas. The first location of Fred’s Meat & Bread opened at Krog Street Market in November 2014. Fred’s has one of our absolute favorite Friday Happy Hours.

At the Canteen location only, the original Burger Stack from Fred’s is only $5 from 3pm to close! Make sure to arrive early. Fred’s usually sells out!

Fado Irish Pub | Midtown 

Fado, with multiple locations throughout Atlanta, is a great place to grab an Irish beer – they have many – or catch a soccer game. If you go to the Fado in Midtown on Friday, you can enjoy not one, not two, but Three awesome Happy Hour Specials!

On Fridays only, Tacos are BOGO (buy-one-get-one) all day long!

From 4-7PM, bar snacks, including Fish Tacos, Big Soft Pretzels, Hummus, and Skillet Chips are $6. The beer of the month is $5, premium glasses of wine are $7, and signature cocktails are $7. But the fun doesn’t stop there!

From 7PM-9PM, Bottomless Moscow Mules are only $21! Your read that right: get as many Moscow Mules as you can handle to kick off your Friday with a bang!

Whiskey Bird | Morningside

Whiskey Bird Atlanta is a neighborhood bar and restaurant in Morningside. The bar and restaurant brings together the vibrancy of Asian flavors with the diversity of American tastes to create dishes that embody their inventive and creative spirit. We love Whiskey Bird for the rooftop patio, creative menu, and daily Happy Hour.

On Friday from 4-6PM, there are plenty of drink specials at Whiskey Bird. The Happy Hour has $7 frose, $6 rose, $4 sapporo, and $5 whiskey sours. There are also $3 tacos to pair with your drink!

Bulla Gastrobar | Midtown

Bulla (Pronounced Boo-Ya) is an authentic Spanish Gastrobar located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. The bar serves tapas, paella, cocktails, sangria, wine, and every other food and drink item essential for a Tapas experience. Bulla also happens to have one of the best Friday Happy Hours in Atlanta.

On Friday from 5-7PM, Small Plates, like Ham Croquettes, Patatas Bravas, and Pimientos de Patron, are $5 each. Medium Tapas plates, like Sauteed Garlic Shrimp, are $8. Three different Charcuterie boards are $14-$18, which pair perfectly with a glass of sangria or handcrafted cocktail.

This special is also available Monday through Thursday from 5-7PM!

Best Saturday Happy Hours in Atlanta

Venkman’s | Old Fourth Ward

Venkman’s is a restaurant, bar and live music venue in the heart of Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward. The restaurant pairs creative comfort food classics with the eclectic live music lineup. Venkman’s has happy hours and food/drink specials throughout the week, but the best special is on Saturday.

From 10:30AM-3PM, Brunch with bottomless mimosas for $18 is served. There is also live music, with rotating acts starting around 1PM. If you are interested in who is playing this weekend, check out the calendar on Venkman’s website.

Pauley’s Crepe Bar | West Midtown 

Pauley’s Crepe Bar is now open in West Midtown Atlanta. The crepe bar started 10 years ago with the first location in the heart of Athens, GA on Clayton Street. Now with a second location, Pauley’s Atlanta serves sweet & savory crepes, amazing appetizers, sandwiches, and salads. Pauley’s Atlanta has a daily happy hour and weekend brunch specials.

On Saturday at Pauley’s, you don’t just order a mimosa. You order the Mimosa Box! This box is available from 10AM-4PM, and has enough juice and champagne to satisfy four people for $24. This is one of our favorite brunch specials!

MidCity Cafe |  Midtown

MidCity Cafe has re-opened in Midtown Atlanta! The restaurant, which closed in 2014 after 10 years in the neighborhood, is back in its former location on West Peachtree. MidCity will again be serving coffee, wine, and cocktails. MidCity cafe will once again have daily Happy Hour, which is what made the first iteration of the cafe so enjoyable.

On Saturday, MidCity has $4 beers, $7 wine by the glass, and $5 Mules from 4-7PM. This is one of the best Happy Hours to grab a drink on the weekend! Check out the rest of MidCity’s drink specials here!

Rreal Tacos | Midtown

Rreal Tacos in Midtown is a classic taqueria with specialty tacos, build your own tacos, and a full drink menu. The restaurant sources almost all the ingredients locally, so you get fresh and delicious food every time. Rreal Tacos has a great selection of local and imported beer, margaritas, and cocktails.

Rreal Tacos has one of the best Atlanta Happy Hours on Saturday. Pitchers of Margaritas are $18, and buckets of beer are $12. So grab margs and beers, and enjoy yourself on their patio! Rreal Tacos has other great specials throughout the week; Click here to see them all!

The S.O.S. Tiki Bar | Decatur 

The S.O.S. Tiki Bar in Decatur brings local foods and tropical moods! This bar is one of our favorites, and also one of the few true Tiki bars in Atlanta. The bar goes all out with the tiki theme; every aspect of the bar makes you feel like your are in a tropical paradise! The drinks, decor, bartenders, and patio all have a distinct island theme, which is essential when you live in a land-locked city!

The Tiki Bar Happy Hour is one of the best! Every Wednesday through Friday after 6PM, the special house punch is only $5 a glass. The deal goes until the punch is gone! We love this deal on Fridays because it is the perfect way to start a night out in Decatur.

Best Sunday Happy Hours in Atlanta

The Mercury | Ponce City Market

The Mercury is a classic cocktail-focused eatery on the second floor of Ponce City Market. No one has a better brunch than the Mercury! We are all familiar with bottomless cocktails, but The Mercury takes it one step further: Bottomless Brunch!

Every Sunday from 12:30-3PM, The Mercury has Bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas for $15 (there is a 5 drink limit per customer). On top of that, you can get Bottomless Brunch, including Biscuits and Gravy, a waffle station, a carving station, and much more for $25. This is the only place where your brunch is truly unlimited!

Gypsy Kitchen | The Shops of Buckhead

Making a second appearance on our list of the best happy hours is Gypsy Kitchen! Gypsy Kitchen draws inspiration from the culinary riches of Spain. Gypsy Kitchen has the best Buckhead Happy Hour on Sunday. From 4-11PM, wave goodbye to Sunday Scaries and hello to Sunday Funday on the rooftop patio! Enjoy paella on the patio, a live flamenco guitarist, half off select bottles of wine, and $6 glasses of rosé every Sunday! Festivities begin weekly at 4pm.

The Pinewood | Decatur

The Pinewood is a neighborhood bar that serves extraordinary cocktails and reinterpreted regional fare in downtown Decatur, Georgia. The menu features inventive dishes alongside old-school Southern Favorites. All the dishes use locally sourced ingredients.

The Pinewood has a bottomless drink special on Sunday only. From 12:30-2:30PM, you can get Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys for $15. This is a great brunch deal at a great Decatur restaurant!

The Shed at Glenwood | Grant Park

The Shed at Glenwood, nestled in Grant Park, is a casual restaurant with serious food. The restaurant has a true neighborhood feel, with creative dishes that are worth a drive. The Shed has several happy hour specials throughout the week, but our favorites are on Sunday.

In the early afternoon, the Shed at Glenwood has $16 bottomless mimosas from 12:30-3PM. Once brunch is over, The Shed offers a signature Shed Burger or a special creation paired with a beer for $18. The beer and the special creation change every week and are available from 4-9PM.

ATL Taco | Buckhead

ATL Taco is putting a new spin on Tex-Mex. The founders, originally from Oklahoma, want to bring Atlanta a taste of the Mexican restaurants they remember from home. The menu covers all the basic Tex-Mex favorites, but incorporates better, health-conscious ingredients. There is also a great happy hour every weekday! ATL Taco Happy Hour gets you great deals on appetizers!

Every Sunday, stop by ATL Taco to get all-you-can-eat tacos for only $12! Options include ATL Hot Chicken, cheeseburger, fried catfish, veggie, and more! Their tacos are incredible, and this is your chance to try as many of them as you like!
